So, as an actor, it’s unusual to see a whole rough cut of a film–especially if you’re a background actor, that almost never<\/em> happens. I’ve been very lucky this year to see some rough cuts of my work on Outpost Earth, thanks, Brett! It’s really funny to see a scene where another actor’s lines have been removed before ADR, and before visual effects have been added. Kinda groovy.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, I got to see a rough cut of Baby Frankenstein, the little indie sci-fi\/comedy I worked on last fall. It was a fun scene, lots of improv, and I was really curious to see what bits Jon YonKondy, the director, was going to piece together and how it would fit into the greater scheme of things.<\/p>\n

I hadn’t had the opportunity\u00a0to read a full script, just the few scenes they were considering me for when I auditioned, so I really had no clue.<\/p>\n

It didn’t all make the final cut, but the director saying it was, “too funny,” too close the dramatic climax of the movie, takes the sting away. He said he’s send me the full scene, so I hope to add it here and to my reel shortly thereafter.<\/p>\n
